Next Day Blinds is looking for a Shutter Assembler that will be responsible for manual assembly of custom shutter components according to company quality and safety standards

ROLE PRIORITIES:                                                                                             

·         Proper utilization of Materials

·         Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station

·         Proper utilization of Materials

·         Operate production machinery & tools according to department and manufacturer specification

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Assure your task meets or exceeds the standards

·         Able to move to different production areas as required

·         Ability to understand sketches and drawings preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:                                                                                          

·         Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

·         High school degree or equivalent preferred

 

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:                                                                   

·         Basic math skills and understanding of fractions. Ability read a tape measure/ruler

  • Ability to understand sketches and drawings preferred.

·         Prior experience in a manufacturing/assembly environment is a plus
