Retail Solutions Manager
Retail Solutions Manager (POS) will be responsible for delivering innovative retail solutions that add value to both the business and customer experience. He/She will collaborate with various business and technical teams from design through implementation, ensuring solutions synergize with the omni-channel strategy across the store, in-home sales, and online experiences. The Manager of Retail Solutions has a broad skillset serving as product manager, project manager, and business analyst – allowing them to successfully deliver state-of-the-art retail solutions for Next Day Blinds. The initial and primary responsibility for the Manager of Retail Solutions is the successful implementation of a custom point-of-sale (POS) solution from project planning, requirements gathering, product roadmap, product management, user testing, and supporting the rollout to sales associates and business users. The Manager will be the product owner and prioritize and manage all enhancements to drive additional new and impactful retail solutions to propel Next Day Blinds forward.
Vice President of IT
VP of IT will be serving as a senior technology executive, reporting to the President. The VP of IT will lead strategy development and execution of our technology infrastructure and applications. Our ideal candidate must be business-minded and technologically savvy with a passion for working in a collaborative environment.
Technical Delivery Manager
Technical Delivery Manager will be is responsible for delivering state-of-the-art retail technology solutions for Next Day Blinds that support the omni-channel strategy across the store, in-home sales, and online experiences. This new role will work closely with senior management, business owners, and software development teams – both onshore and offshore -- to successfully manage and deliver on time and within budget. The initial, and primary, responsibility for the Technical Delivery Manager is the technical ownership and overall project delivery of the eCommerce and point-of-sale (POS) systems. A past history of delivering complex software solutions via agile best practices is critical to the success of this role. The Technical Delivery Manager provides leadership, planning, prioritization, scheduling and effective implementation for IT initiatives on the roadmap as well as application support and enhancements. This person sets a sustainable work pace for the team, generates estimates for work and collaborates on priorities. The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of prioritized projects and defect remediation in conjunction with project management and support management. They will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and is accountable for creating and maintaining the budget and overseeing the timeline. The Technical Engineering/Delivery Manager removes impediments for the team and ensures the team has the correct skill sets and correct development tools to execute against priorities.
Tracker will be responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to customers and company employees through effective communication, high level of professionalism and the ability to problem solve. A Tracker must be able to effectively communicate with technicians and customers concerning expected arrival times and have the ability to resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate any schedule changes. A tracker must be able to provide problem resolution with customers and if unable to resolve customer issues, elevate to the next level of managements in a timely manner.
Assemblers who can work in manufacturing style assembly of blinds using hands or various tools/equipment adhering to industry leading Quality Standards and daily completion of dynamic “Next Day” production schedule. Follows English instructions, both verbal and written, indicating specified finish, dimensions, hardware components, and quality control requirements of component materials into finished products. This role will require the employee to cross train and play an integral role in a multi-functional, multi-product first shift production team.
Customer Service Representative
Customer Service Representative will be responsible for answering incoming calls from customers to schedule new installation appointments, service appointments, provide guidance on product and services, and assist with resolving customer issues. The overall expectation of the customer service representative is to provide superior service and generate brand loyalty by anticipating the needs of customers.
Measure Technician will be responsible for preparing and taking correct measurements and make application suggestions to Sales for our products according to company standards. The incumbent will provide correct information to the sales staff for ordering products and the ability to give technical drawings to the productions department. They will also be providing detailed instructions to installers for installation.
Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift
Next Day Blinds, is looking for a Production Supervisor who will be directly overseeing employees and production of industry leading window blinds and shades. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising 15-30 employees handling all aspects of the operation ranging from scheduling employees, safety training, cross training, adhering to the highest levels of quality standards and daily completion of dynamic “Next Day” production schedule.
Next Day Blinds, is looking for a Production Lead who will be directly overseeing employees and production of industry leading window blinds and shades. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising 5-20 employees handling all aspects of the operation ranging from scheduling employees, safety training, cross training, adhering to the highest levels of quality standards and daily completion of dynamic “Next Day” production schedule.
Quality Assurance Auditor
Next Day Blinds is looking for Quality Assurance Auditor for our manufacturing facility located in Jessup, MD. We have two exciting opportunities available. Measure and install window coverings. We provide in-depth training on all our product types; experience in installation, carpentry, construction, and in-home service is a plus. A good driving record is a must. Competitive salary, bonuses, excellent benefits package.
